Living Christ and developing leaders who will change the world!

I have been working as a campus minister with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship for the past 13 years (in my 14th year now) on the scenic campus of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. I love my job. I love working with God to shape students who will shape the world. I have also been married to an incredible woman (Janette AKA Nettie) for 13 never-boring years. I love her dearly. She keeps me in the game! We have 3 never-boring but sometimes bored sons to date...Noah (9), Luke (6) and Zeke (19 months). These kids are a bit wild and full of great potential which is just the way I prefer them to be!

I love silence and never am short on ideas. I love thinking deeply especially at night. I am facinated with space. I love reading and books in general probably because I love learning/developing. Also, I really like full book shelves. I have taken a butt load of strength finder tests and personality evaluations over the years. My spiritual gifts include leadership, apostleship, pastoring, encouragement and generosity. I am a stubborn "8" (with 5 and 9 wings) on the Ennegram evaluation. I am an "INFJ" on the Meyers Briggs test. My 5 strengthfinder strengths are: Strategic, Achiever, Ideation, Learner and Belief. I also know my Divine Design. My weaknesses include bt are not limited to: impatience, workoholism/work boundaries, lack of attention to details, stubborness, and occasionally pride. In general, I have the tendency to steam roll people when I want to get things done and also I tend to take action first and think about it later (or ask permission/forgiveness). I try my best to stumble forward.
